An Experiential and Primal Astrology Workshop

Sydney, NSW, November 16th/17th 2024

At a time when the so-called Dark Goddesses and disowned parts of the masculine are arising in the collective, this live in person two-day workshop offers multiple opportunities to reclaim the magical, healing and transformative power the deep sacred feminine and her masculine counterparts.

Many of the archetypes, as parts of ourselves, that we are working with have been heavily distorted and culturally rejected, mostly by patriarchal and religious conditioning while overlaid with myths and stories that overemphasise their distorted expressions and encourage further, ongoing suppression. This is a disastrous situation for our own individual health and well-being, as well as our civilisation.

Using an eclectic mix designed over 40 years of private practice and group work, incorporating dance and movement, active and passive meditations, the Jungian technique Voice Dialogue and the magic of experiential astrology, we will work through layers of shadow and wounding to discover the deeper the sacred essence of each irrespective of their surface reputations.

There is much to discover in the way of spiritual gifts, healing and transformative power, great insights knowledge and wisdom often mixed with great love, compassion, joy and tantric sexuality, all of which can contribute to the expression of the spiritual warriors, male and female within ourselves.

On the Saturday we will be actively working with:

Lilith: feminist warrior and advocate for human rights, relationship equality and mutual respect.

Nessus: powerful centaur, contemporary of Chiron, and alchemist of the light and dark expressions of desire and masculine power.

Each of these are archetypes are powerfully placed astrologically on this weekend and supported by the benevolent agencies of Jupiter and Ganesh, Hygeia and Kali, Shiva and Pluto. The weekend then offers the potential to:

• Release and heal ancient forms of trauma in our family systems, from transgenerational and cultural sources.
• Actively work on our anger and rage, whether and/or carried so that our inner warriors can work better.
• Unlock psychic, intuitive and spiritual gifts from both masculine and feminine.
• Dissolve internal defences and outer protective masks that diminish the flow of love between ourselves and the world.
• Purify distortions to our sexuality while enhancing our capacity for ever deepening intimacy.
• For the healers and therapists amongst us, discovering deeper pre-existing healing skills and knowledge.
• Releasing past life trauma and negative karma stemming from misuse of power, while finding greater compassion for our mistakes in this life and in others.
• Tapping equally ancient lines of sacred knowledge and wisdom, including intergenerational gifts and abilities.
• Honing our inner warriors male and female we can use the more effectively in interpersonal situations, setting boundaries and courageously facing both inner challenges and outer authority.
• Healing our relationship to our instinctual animal selves, to the natural world, it’s spirits and its creatures.
• Finding that underneath the distortions to any of these archetypes are not just serious reclaimable skills but a greater capacity for joy, enjoyment and even humour.
• To experience the underlying unity of all things as spoken by the mystics in all traditions.

One of the beauties about this experiential work is that you do not need any previous knowledge or experience of astrology or the archetypes to be able to jump in fully to the practices we are offering. Each of them gives this a different avenue into our own inherent wisdom and intuitive knowing.
