DESCRIPTION:Cellular Origins: Tracking In-Utero Influences & Trauma in the Birthchart\nOnline Seminar\nSeptember 6th 10am-1pm AEST (Sydney)\n  \nThis seminar represents a culmination of 35 years of pioneering research and experience in exploring the journey from our earliest cellular origins at conception all the way to towards taking our first breath at birth. \nIt was inspired by an extraordinary convergence of groundbreaking new astrological writing\, the experiential work of primal therapy and breath work\, and the birthing activism inspired by Frederick Leboyer. \nA more personal synchronicity in the midst of this new wave in the 1980s\, was finding myself in primal therapy workshops\, having my own deeply layered in-  utero re-experiences including my conception\, observing these in my fellow students in a two year training group\, while having copies of their individual birthcharts! \nThis came not long after the astrologer Tad Mann created a way of tracking the journey from conception to birth in the natal chart\, a ground-breaking achievement in which he postulated that the 9th House cusp represents the conception point. \nMy observations served to those validate Tad’s writing and to expand upon them. \nThe other significant sources of this information include from the Australian pioneer in in utero primal therapy\, the late Dr Graham Farrant\,  a student of Dr. Arthur Janov  of “Primal Scream” and “The Feeling Child” fame;   from the work of spiritual and shamanic midwifery mediated through my former wife and colleague Cloudia Defrenne; from my students in the experiential astrology trainings and clients in The Conception to Birth Experiential Workshops I’ve been running since 1990. \nWe will be looking at \n\nThe existence of cellular consciousness\nThe role of epigenics  on top of that of our DNA.\nThe nature of significant environmental and transgenerational influences around conception.\nA more accurate conception point in the birthchart.\nHow conception\, implantation and first trimester influence all aspects of our eight houses.\nSome exceptional chart examples reflecting real life experiences between conception and birth.\nHow to identify significant influences and disruptions in the birthchart reflecting the above.\nHow experiential and primal astrology provides tools and practices for accessing and releasing absorbed influences in our own in utero journeys.\nWhat other therapeutic and spiritual practices support both healing disturbances and accessing the gifts of our earliest experiences.\n\n \nSaturday September 6th\, 10am to 1pm AEST (Sydney) \nCost $55\, concessions available upon application. \nThe session will be recorded for US and European listeners.

DESCRIPTION:Radical Grace: the Shiva Durga Union Online Experiential Workshop\nSaturday May 18th 10:00 AM – 2.30 PM AEST\nLive and Recorded\n  \nWorking experientially with the Shiva asteroid in alignment with the Black Moon/Durga and\, with the Sun and Venus wrapped around the radically expansive Jupiter Uranus conjunction. \nThis workshop was created to celebrate a unique union in our collective astrology\, between the Shiva asteroid and the Black Moon\, the latter being a Western version of the warrior mother goddess Durga. (If you have difficulty with sitting\, have a light chair that you can easily move in and out of the circle)\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Sacred Healing Circle\nAs we are going to be working experientially with a symbolic archetypal system\, we have found over many years of experience that the creation of some form of sacred circle makes the work more powerful and more accessible. \nWe encourage you then to create some form of symbolic circle prior to the workshop starting. This is totally optional though and if this is unfamiliar territory for you\, you will still be able to participate fully just using the symbols for Chiron\, North Node and Aries. \nTo create such a circle\, feel free to be creative using whatever symbols\, statues sacred objects crystals or objects of nature that feel right for you. This includes a circle using images for the signs of the Zodiac if you have them. Candles are not such a good idea as we will be moving around at times. \nIf you have room\, a circle or similar shape ideally can have a radius of 2 m but smaller is OK too. Once it is laid out\, it becomes a healing space that supports you in accessing the parts of self you’re working with. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Dance\, Movement and Active Meditations\nWe will be doing some dance and movement to get into our bodies more\, and it’s totally up to you whether you do this inside the circle or somewhere else in the room. Feel free to turn off your video if you are feeling self-conscious. \nIf you’re space is not soundproof or lacks privacy\, it would be good to have Bluetooth headphones or ear-pods so that you can move more freely. \nSometimes with the active meditations\, the energy of them can bring up old feelings\, wounds and blockages that need some form of sound release.
