However simplistic\, and somewhat misleading (Venus and Mars live in each individual whatever their gender!) it raised the awareness of these aspects of the masculine and feminine in the collective. \nHowever\, Venus and Mars energy is part of the attraction between people and is a natural part of any short or long-term relationship. Psychologically and spiritually though these parts of ourselves also constitute the raw material upon which we learn\, grow and develop our relationships and our individual capacity for relationship. \nIn archetypal psychology and therapeutic astrology\, this relationship evolution naturally draws us towards higher and deeper experiences of our outer relationships and\, in the relationship between masculine and feminine within ourselves. \nThis workshop follows one three stage evolutionary pathway that starts with Venus and Mars\, gets heightened by the archetypes of Eros and Psyche and deepened by the union of Jupiter and Juno. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Stage I: Venus and Mars combines a goddess of love\, beauty\, creativity\, sensuality and feminine sexuality\, with the masculine warrior God Mars who is full of desire\, drive\, passion and phallic sexuality. This is totally optional though and if this is unfamiliar territory for you\, you will still be able to participate fully just using Aries and Taurus and the symbols for the Sun\, Moon\, Jupiter\,  Uranus and North Node. \nIf you have room\, a circle or similar shape ideally can have a radius of 2 m but smaller is OK too. Once it is laid out\, it becomes a healing space that supports you in accessing the parts of self you’re working with. Here’s an example in the image above/left. \nTo create such a circle\, feel free to be creative using whatever symbols\, statues\, sacred objects\, crystals\, the 4 directions or objects of nature that feel right for you. This includes a circle using images for the signs of the Zodiac if you have them. Just have the sign cards laid out with the Aries and Taurus images facing inwards in the real or imaginary circle so that his card is about a metre from your computer. This is totally optional though and if this is unfamiliar territory for you\, you will still be able to participate fully just using the symbols for Chiron\, North Node and Aries. \nTo create such a circle\, feel free to be creative using whatever symbols\, statues sacred objects crystals or objects of nature that feel right for you. This includes a circle using images for the signs of the Zodiac if you have them. Candles are not such a good idea as we will be moving around at times. \nIf you have room\, a circle or similar shape ideally can have a radius of 2 m but smaller is OK too. Once it is laid out\, it becomes a healing space that supports you in accessing the parts of self you’re working with. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Dance\, Movement and Active Meditations\nWe will be doing some dance and movement to get into our bodies more\, and it’s totally up to you whether you do this inside the circle or somewhere else in the room. Feel free to turn off your video if you are feeling self-conscious. \nIf you’re space is not soundproof or lacks privacy\, it would be good to have Bluetooth headphones or ear-pods so that you can move more freely. \nSometimes with the active meditations\, the energy of them can bring up old feelings\, wounds and blockages that need some form of sound release.
