Awakening the Healing Masculine to Empower Our Soul Purposes

Chiron Conjunct North Node in Aries:  A Wounded Healer Online Experiential Workshop with Daniel Sowelu

2024 is going to be a year of great healing, of enhanced potential for soul alignment and, is an initiatory year in a new cycle of transformation. What we set in place now will influence the next decades of our lives.

For those of us who are on the healing, personal development and spiritual paths, this is a turning point, a time when we can go even deeper in our individual healing and a time of acting courageously to manifest and express our authentic soul-inspired self in the world.

For those of us who are new to the healing journey, this can be a time of unveiling hidden gifts and knowledge, for initiation into deeper layers of self-awareness and to discover our inner healers.

Astrologically this is represented by the union of Chiron, the Wounded Healer with the North Node of the Moon in the dynamic, pioneering and individualistic sign of Aries. This is a once in every 18 year event which is lining up exactly on this weekend.

We have designed this workshop to make maximum use of this unique and powerful event in the heavens and in our individual psyches.

The workshop is a live and experiential one which requires no knowledge or experience in astrology or of the archetypes mentioned, to be able to participate fully. The only requirement is that you come with an open mind, with curiosity and a willingness to explore your inner self more deeply.

We use a dynamic mixture of dance and music, active and passive meditations, and the magic of astrological wheel work, an embodied form of experiential and therapeutic astrology. Alongside a serious focus on our healing, are also opportunities for experiencing joy, passion and freedom of expression.

In the workshop you will have opportunities to

• Reclaim your Eros, fire and passion with depth, clarity and confidence to move forward in your life.

Times:  We are starting at 9 am AEDT (Sydney) so please log in at 8.50 for sound and video checks. The sessions will go for 2 hours with a 20-30 minute break between them. We plan to finish at 12.30 but may need up to another 30 minutes to complete.

Participation: Upon booking, you will be emailed the Zoom link, the relevant symbols for the workshop (please print out in advance), and preparation instructions for you. Please make sure you have a cushion, a shawl or blanket if it is cool, an accessible water bottle and pen and paper. Wear loose, comfortable clothing that gives you the freedom to move and, to sit or lie on the floor. (If you have difficulty with sitting, have a light chair that you can easily move in and out of the circle)

Sacred Healing Circle

As we are going to be working experientially with a symbolic archetypal system, we have found over many years of experience that the creation of some form of sacred circle makes the work more powerful and more accessible.

We encourage you then to create some form of symbolic circle prior to the workshop starting. This is totally optional though and if this is unfamiliar territory for you, you will still be able to participate fully just using the symbols for Chiron, North Node and Aries.

To create such a circle, feel free to be creative using whatever symbols, statues sacred objects crystals or objects of nature that feel right for you. This includes a circle using images for the signs of the Zodiac if you have them. Candles are not such a good idea as we will be moving around at times.

If you have room, a circle or similar shape ideally can have a radius of 2 m but smaller is OK too. Once it is laid out, it becomes a healing space that supports you in accessing the parts of self you’re working with.
