Chiron and Chariklo: A Healing Love Story

An Experiential Archetypal Workshop

For many of us, Chiron the Wounded Healer, has been a companion, guide, guru and catalysts in our healing journeys for many years. He has provoked us, activated old wounds for healing, recreated wounding experiences in the present to give us access to the deeper wounding of past. His delivery is not always pleasant but like any true master here is both ruthless in his efforts to heal us and yet is driven by the deepest love and compassion.

Less known until recently is the influence of his mythological wife Chariklo, who played a huge part in the healing of Chiron’s core wounds in order for him to become the great archetypal healer and teacher. It was she who quietly supported his healing work from within their cave and who became a co-foster parent to all the demigod children who came to him for their education.

This story is one of great transmutation and of great love and compassion. We will use their story as the narrative for the experiential work on this day. It is deeply auspicious that on the start of this day Chariklo’s asteroid is directly overhead on the Midheaven and is sextiling her beloved’s planetoid for the first time in 3-4 years.

As an experiential workshop you don’t need any experience of knowledge of astrology or of these archetypes, only an attitude of curiosity and an openness to feel whatever arise during the active processes. These will include dance and movement, active and passive meditations, energetic release work and the magic of experiential and archetypal astrology.

During the workshop you have opportunities to……

– Awaken new layers of your inner healing ability.

– Drop more deeply into the earlier wounds that need attention.

– Experience the sacred marriage between masculine and feminine that the two embody.

– Use the energy generated by the connection to dismantle patriarchal structures while opening to the magic of the exalted masculine. (Uranus and Shiva)

– To assist in the purification and reclamation of the so-called dark goddesses.

– To open to deeper levels of safety and vulnerability supported by the maternal aspect of Chariklo, for yourself and for those of you who are practitioners, for others.

– To gather more information about how your soul callings want to be manifested in this next stages of your life.

Location: Online via Zoom.

Times: 1:30PM – 5:00PM. Please login 15min early to do an audio/video check and settle in.

Prepare: A private space where you can move around freely while still seeing the screen and hearing the audio (ie no wired headphones). Wear: Loose comfortable clothing to be able to move, dance and work on the floor.
