Refining the Spiritual Warriors Within – Sydney
An Archetypal, Primal Astrology Workshop

In this era of enormous environmental, social and political change, many of us aspire to become spiritual warriors or, what the great mystic scholar Andrew Harvey has called sacred activists, so that we may become agents of healing, transformation and catalysts for real, life enhancing change.
In the language of astrology, the archetypes that draw us to become spiritual warriors include Mars, Pallas Athena and Lilith. In the astrology of this particular weekend, these three have gathered together directly overhead and are calling us to action, powerfully supported by Jupiter, Chiron, Kali, Black Moon and Uranus.
However, the individuals that have become effective leaders, activists and inspirers are those who have been able to purify and refine their raw, instinctual energies, who know their shadow areas intimately and, who have been able to temper their warriors with love and compassion.
Our inner warriors are also unfortunately carriers of unhealed pain, trauma, anger and rage, whether absorbed from our family systems, transgenerational influences, our past life records and from our collective culture. If this woundedness is unattended to then it either blunts and sabotages our warriors and/or have them act out destructively when we attend to use them.
Some of the symptoms of this include the hurdles of fear, loss of confidence, depression and despair (so common in many activists!) and difficulty with translating our gifts, knowledge and visions into manifestation in the world.
This workshop offers a deep holding and safe space to work with and release these obstacles, while honing the swords of truth, justice and protection of the disadvantaged.
We’ll be working dynamically with these particular archetypes through the experiential practices of primal astrology, is that requires no astrological knowledge, only a willingness to be open to exploring your depths.
This workshop then offers opportunities for:-
- the releasing our inner warriors from the past so that they can become more effective in the present and future
- experiencing the sources of the spiritual warrior within us, male and female.
- sharpen the swords of our intellects, intuition and our desires for truth and authenticity in the world
- purifying the energies of anger and rage while transmuting them into inspired action, clarity, one-pointedness and assertiveness.
- Finding a level of love and compassion that complements our passion for creating real change.
- Becoming greater agents of transformation and healing in our worlds
Daniel and Chandu are both activists as well as facilitators, Daniel having worked side-by-side with Andrew Harvey, is a great advocate for the reclamation of the sacred feminine in both astrology and in spiritual practice, while Chandu is an activist working to support women in the realms of courageous conversation and domestic violence as well the educational empowerment of the disenfranchised.
