This workshop is specifically designed for people born in the late 1960s early 1970s, who are now having their Chiron Returns. It is also open to anyone else having strong Chiron transits or progressions and who want to work more deeply with this Wounded Healer within themselves.
Mythologically Chiron was the king and guru of the centaurs, a multiskilled, multidimensional healer, mentor, spritual teacher, shaman and medicine man. Inside us, he represents the initially wounded masculine who strives to descover his own authentic essence and its healing power.
Astrologically, he is a planetoid who circles the Sun between Saturn and Uranus and so represents a brdige between normal human consciousness and the transformative and mystical powers of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
Around the ages of 49 – 51 he comes back to his birth position in our charts, initiating a two-year period that is as significant in our total lifespan as the Saturn Returns, particularly for those on the spiritual, therapeutic and healing journey.
In this dynamic workshop, we will be working with the energy of Chiron inside us using experiential practices that require no previous knowledge or experience of astrology. This includes the use of dance and movement, active and passive meditations, voice dialogue and visualisation, and the magic of experiential astrology.
