Voice Dialogue is a ground-breaking technique developed by the brilliant Hal and Sidra Stone in the 1980s.  Deeply influenced by Jungian psychology, and other archetypal systems, it is an interviewing technique that allows for dialoguing directly with any individual part of self, whether that is called a sub-personality, a role or voice, an archetype, planet or asteroid. 

It can be used to interact with any part of the self that can be named, with dream figures, mythological or historical identities, even with parts of the body. 

The practice not only allows the individual to access the knowledge, intelligence and wisdom of any part of self but also gives the client an embodied energetic experience at the same time, particularly when working with universal archetypes found in everyone.  As a consequence, it is considered an action- based practice that extends more traditionally and intellectually based archetypal studies and therapies.

The same practice is highly flexible and can be used in any therapeutic context. Its basis is relatively simple and can be taught over a weekend. Much of the workshop is then taken up with practicing with other group members under supervision using Zoom’s system of breakout rooms.

Daniel has been using the practice in conjunction with experiential astrology, in his therapy practice, with individuals and with groups for 34 years. He brings a wealth of experience to the way it is used and to the subtleties of the practice in different healing scenarios. Voice Dialogue is also a foundation tool in his professional trainings in experiential and primal astrology and, is an excellent steppingstone towards the practices of Family Constellation Work, Psychodrama and Astrodrama.
