Experiential Astrology Workshops

Our daily life is directed by and deeply affected by our relationships.

The quality of how we relate to others – be it in our intimate partnerships, our careers or social life – is intricately linked to how we feel about and relate to ourselves.

On this weekend the astrological and collective energies have aligned and provide a brilliant opportunity for working emotionally, spiritually and therapeutically on how we might heal our relationships to ourselves and others.

Three Related Stages

Stage 1: Venus and Mars Introductory Evening- Friday evening 7-9.30 pm – open to anyone interested in trying out experiential astrology and exploring these relationship planets.

Stage 2: Transformative and Healing Stage – Saturday 9:00am – 5pm. Working with the transformer archetypes Pluto and the Black Moon, and the great healers Chiron, The Wounded Healer and Hygeia, Kundalini Goddess of Healing.

Stage 3: The Shiva Shakti Stage: Sunday 10am – 4.30pm Working with the three tantric archetypes Shiva, Kali and Parvati.

Ideally, we’d like you to complete the whole process, which are inter-connected evolutionary steps. If that is not possible you can choose the ones that work for you.

These experiential practices do not require any knowledge or experience in either archetypal psychology or traditional astrology. Each in their own way open us up intuitively, physically and emotionally to these parts of self within, eliciting our own natural healing powers and the organic intelligence in our bodies.

Throughout the day we will dance and move, undertake both active and passive meditations, and utilisethe magic of experiential archetypal work and the astrological wheel. For more about the practice of experiential astrology go here.

Your group leader and facilitator is Daniel Sowelu (B.Sc. Dip.Ed.) – therapeutic and experiential astrologer, multi-skilled therapist, group-leader, writer and trainer in his 39th year of private practice. Astrology Chart: Please bring cushion and blanket or shawl, wear loose comfortable clothing, a plate for a shared lunch and, your birth chart with Pluto, Black Moon, Shiva and Parvati on it (if you don’t have one, you can go to the Astro.com website to construct your own, or send your birth time, date and place to Daniel prior to the weekend here).

• Daniel’s work is highly sought after, and this is his first live workshop on the Southwest Coast for many years.
• If you are unwell, or have cold or flu symptoms, please look after yourself and others and stay away.
• This workshop is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, please contact Daniel minimum 24hrs before the workshop and he will arrange an alternative service (e.g. online reading or something of similar value) in its place. If you fail to show up without prior notice of your non-attendance you will be charged the full fee.
