HERE is the accompanying video, for those of you who prefer to listen and watch this months Astrology.

This month’s chart is one of the best we’ve seen in many months! It’s not without its ongoing challenges obviously but there is much to like about it.

The intense focus of the last few months on our relationships continues unabated, through the actions of Pluto being joined by Venus and Mars and accompanying asteroids.

Healing energies continue to be strong, from both expanded, gracious perspectives of Jupiter and, one’s involving intense surgical focus from Chiron and Pallas Athena.

The dark side of our collective passage through Covid and potential geopolitical threats is represented by very tough T-square involving Neptune and three of the dark goddesses.

This is the multi-layered juggle for us this month!

Sun conjunct Jupiter in Pisces, sextile Uranus in Taurus

Sun/Jupiter contacts are amongst the very best of astrological line ups. Both are radiant energies (Jupiter is the only planet that gives off more energy than it receives from the Sun) and together they are the epitome of growth, expansion, faith and trust, optimism and hope. They enhance all the qualities of Pisces, its awesome sensitivity, creative and intuitive genius, it’s psychic and spiritual gifts, with Jupiter offering broader vision, even greater generosity and heightened perceptual powers.

Jupiter enlivens the Shakti Goddesses / Jupiter conjunct Kali, sextiles Parvati & Lilith in Taurus, trining Hygeia in Scorpio!

This is a great month for connecting with these different faces of the deep sacred feminine as Jupiter increases the potential for releasing distortions to these goddesses, while opening us up to their grace and love, their healing and transformative power.

Mercury conjunct Saturn in Aquarius

While Jupiter is going both ballistic with Uranus, and oceanic into Pisces, here is the counterpoint. Mercury, as the ruler of our (mostly) conscious minds, of communication and learning, lines up with the disciplinarian Saturn, after spending the last 10 days squaring the enlightening but unpredictable Uranus. A conjunction from Mercury to Saturn can temporarily puts the brakes on the effectiveness of our thinking, not because he wants to block us but because he wants us to think more deeply, develop more healthy realism, avoid escapist and lazy tendencies and, to get even more effective as a consequence.

Saturn Trining Black Moon in Gemini, Sextiling Medusa In Sagittarius

This might be considered a less important transit but given the deep challenges of the Kali/Black Moon/Medusa T-square, it is timely support for understanding these mysterious, powerful and potentially destructive expressions of the Dark Mother.

Venus and Mars conjunct Pluto in Capricorn

In joining Pluto, the ongoing Venus and Mars conjunction ups the stakes to get both higher and deeper in our relationship evolution. Pluto tends to dredge up a great deal of unresolved psychic emotional material around relationships and sexuality, in order to clear it out of our systems, particularly from our lower chakras. This can include old trauma, rage and grief, sexual wounding and heart blockages, whether from this lifetime and or others!

His ultimate goal through this is to empower the individual, psychologically, spiritually and sexually; to bring that into close relationship in an evolutionary shift that demands greater truth telling, honesty and willingness to go more deeply in intimacy and into love.

Venus, Mars and Pluto sextile Neptune and Eros in Pisces

At its best the Neptune sextile offers similar support to that of Jupiter in Pisces, in that, in the middle of the fire and the colicky gut of intense transformation and purification, there is still the subtler grace that allows for easier releasing, and a greater psychic fluidity that keeps our emotions moving. It also enhances the effects of gentler spiritual practices while we are grappling with the primal emotions that inevitably arise at times like this.

Venus Mars Pluto sextile South Node in Scorpio trining North Node in Taurus

Having Pluto aspect nodes in this way describes this as a time of deep karmic movement, including in relationships, particularly away from the limitations of the past and towards the visions, riches and potentials of the future embodied in the Taurus North Node. And since Pluto rules Scorpio’s actions, which at the moment include the releasing karmic blockages around the South Node’s past life influences, while drawing accumulated knowledge and various forms of power gathered over many lifetimes to be integrated into this one.

Black Moon in Gemini opposite Medusa in Sagittarius squaring Kali/Neptune/Eros conjunction

This pressure cooker is a deeply karmic event and is pushing up accumulated residues from various sources. This includes the psychic emotional consequences of the suppression, denial and persecution of the feminine, whether from cultural, past life and generational sources.

So, much of this is well beyond our conscious control but, we can and should, work with these energies inside ourselves, through both strong therapeutic and spiritual practices. Upper chakra work alone or any spiritual bypassing will not cut it, as these goddesses demand that we embody rather than transcend, if we are to make a real difference in our service to the world.

Chiron conjunct Pallas Athena in Aries

The fire signs don’t feature greatly in this month’s chart but here is some high quality healing energy which is both powerful and refined. Both these archetypes are penetrative in different ways; Chiron the Wounded Healer specialises in piercing downwards into layers of wounding in order to heal and to awaken natural healers within us, while Pallas Athena’s symbolic spear aims upwards to create space in the outer world for the healing intelligence of the feminine to    express itself there.

Go well, stay well,

With love,

Daniel
