Steady Ground Inside the Storm

Welcome Dear Ones,

Some weeks ask you to do less, and feel more. This is one of them. The Sun’s movement through Cancer’s tender waters aspects Persephone and Hekate this week, while Neptune adds its hazy, dissolving touch. Worldly clarity may feel slippery for a few days. That is not a malfunction. It is an invitation into deeper currents most of us rarely make time to feel.

Underneath all of this, though, real stability is forming. A grand trine links the Sagittarius Moon, Venus in Leo and a steadying conjunction of Saturn, Pallas Athena and Vesta in Aries. You can still get things done. You are simply being asked to do them from a more honest place.

If you want support translating any of this into your own body and your own life, the readings offer exactly that kind of grounded, embodied space.

This Week’s Astrology (June 28th – July 4th )

This week, a tremendous amount of dynamism, spiritual and healing potential comes hand-in-hand with some very messy energetics that may include some volcanic eruptions.

The Sun, now fully in the emotional waters of Cancer, is confluent with the witchy and underworld goddesses Persephone and Hekate, while in a hard aspect to the nebulous Neptune, one that disperses clarity, drive and psychic autonomy in an ocean of cross-currents. Not great for our worldly life, at least initially, but both goddesses are guides through this very territory if you can access them.

A Sagittarius Moon, however, forms a dynamic and positive grand trine with the loving Venus in Leo and a containing triple conjunction of Saturn, Pallas Athena and Vesta, all in Aries. The latter feels like an island of stability in the midst of the turbulent psychic ocean, one that can still allow us to get things done!

A positive dynamo that also spreads energy across the sky is a brilliant alignment of Mercury and Jupiter in late Cancer, with the healing goddess Hygeia hovering in the background. Jupiter brings hope, positivity, optimism and an openness to grace — on this occasion to our thoughts, perspectives and mindsets. He brings the same qualities to our healing processes, even in a square to the Wounded Healer Chiron, now in Taurus.

Jupiter himself is taking a big leap this week by jumping into the passionate dynamism of Leo on Wednesday, shining an even more powerful light, sending great aspects to Mars, Neptune and even to Pluto, adding his expansive qualities to our actions, our spiritual work and to our personal transformation.

Unfortunately, the same combination can negatively energise the arrogant egocentricity of some of our alleged global leaders, but if we are watchful within our own thinking and perspectives, especially for going over the top or into excess, we can get a lot done, balance ourselves and push back against the collective chaos and negativity.

Go well!

Daniel

Reflection + Embodiment

Journal
Journal: Where in my life this week am I being asked to trust a guide I cannot fully see, the way Persephone trusts Hekate’s lantern through the dark?

Practice
1. Sit comfortably and place both feet flat on the floor.
2. Close your eyes and imagine a small steady flame at your sternum.
3. Breathe in for four counts, hold for two, exhale for six.
4. With each exhale, let the flame brighten slightly.
5. Repeat eight times, then open your eyes and name one next right step.

Archetype Spotlight:

Hygeia moves quietly this week, hovering near the bright Mercury Jupiter conjunction in Cancer. She is not the dramatic healer who fights disease head on. She is the steadier intelligence of staying well in the first place, of tending the whole system before it breaks.

Psychologically, Hygeia represents integrated healing, mind, body and perspective working together rather than crisis management after the fact. Even with Jupiter squaring Chiron’s old wound this week, her presence suggests healing can come through hope and expanded perspective, not only through confronting pain directly.

Practical takeaway: notice one small, preventative act of care you can offer your body or mind today, not because something is wrong, but because wholeness is worth tending before it is tested.

Readings That Go Beneath the Surface

Jupiter’s leap into Leo this week amplifies everything, including the temptation toward excess. The readings offer a way to meet that expansion with awareness instead of overreach, translating the planets into something grounded, somatic and psychologically honest. If you want this week’s bigness met with real depth instead of more noise, this is the space for it. Use it well, and a lot becomes possible.
