When the warrior and the wound meet

Welcome Dear Ones,

There is a lot moving this week. Eight archetypes in Aries bring everything from healing rage to creative genius to relational transformation into the same crowded room. Uranus nears the threshold of Gemini. Parvati and Neptune conspire for deeper union. Pallas Athena lights up with fresh ideas.

You do not have to hold all of it at once. You only have to tend what is closest to you.

If this week stirs questions about your path, your relationships, or the timing of what you are building, an Astrology Reading with Daniel can help you orient. Book here.

This Week’s Astrology (April19th-26th)

This week we start with a conga line of planets and asteroids in Aries, making it a very busy part of ourselves and in all of our charts. The Ram prefers a clear and open field that allows him to operate in ways that are straightforward, uncomplicated and with an unobstructed view of the objects of his powerful desire. Unfortunately for him, and us, the eight archetypes in the sign are complex, multilayered and contradictory if not actually antagonistic!

The Sun in his last days before going into Taurus on Monday is still close to Chiron the Wounded Healer and the fierce primal goddess Kali exactly together who are creating a storm of wounded and healing energy, dredging up old conflicts between the enraged feminine and the wounding masculine. Paradoxically there is also potential of joining forces between their true healing essences underneath the chaos in anyone strong enough, and healed enough to hold that amount of power!

As a counterbalance to the above, we start the week with a Taurus Moon conjuncting Venus and sextiling the benevolent Jupiter, a much quieter energy full of love, energetic abundance and stabilising earthiness!

Mercury is extracting himself from the Neptunian Otherworld, shifting gears to becoming very, very practical, by joining the exact alignment of the Mars warrior with the tough but supportive disciplinarian Saturn on Monday.

On some levels, we’ve all been waiting for the Mars/Saturn line-up as it’s a time-keeper that heralds a new phase of getting real traction in creating in the material world.Time to get to the work of rebuilding for these inner gentlemen!

Mercury also brings his gift of the gab to the exact conjunction of the goddess of marriage Juno with the transformative Pluto, a progressive joining of two powers intent on deep change in our primary relationships, territory that currently needs strong and nuanced handling. Mercury, Mars and Saturn in Aries all bring clear and penetrating attention and understanding to this through multiple sextiles. Mercury provides the awareness, Mars the intention and Saturn healthy realism to both inner work and outer conversations.

For the Tantrikas, the goddess of the sacred marriage Parvati is in good aspect to the mystical Neptune from Leo where she will be directly opposite the Pluto/Juno conjunction, a kind of triple-teaming for deconstructing old relationship scripts so that deeper union is more possible within and without.

And for those who are warming up to new creative expressions in their lives, the multitalented Pallas Athena is in a great aspect to the hyper- individualistic wizard energy of Uranus. Expect spectacular ideas and insights to surface spontaneously.

He in turn is days away from going into Gemini, to join the oceanic queen Sedna through May and June, a once in every 90 year alignment of radical change, spiritually and around old wounds and trauma!

Reflection + Embodiment

Journal
What old story about my relationships or my worth is asking to be updated right now? What would it feel like to let it go?

Practice
Sit comfortably and place one hand on your chest. Breathe in slowly for four counts. Hold gently for two. Breathe out for six. Repeat eight times. After the final exhale, ask yourself: what is real and present right now, underneath the noise? Let the answer come in sensation before words.

Archetype Spotlight:

Juno is the goddess of sacred partnership and long-term commitment. She is not soft and she is not naive. She knows what it costs to hold a real relationship over time. She is the one who stays and who asks her partner to become more fully themselves in the staying.

This week Juno is in exact conjunction with Pluto, which means she is in the business of deep transformation. Old contracts, old patterns, old arrangements that no longer serve are being examined at their roots. This is not about leaving. It is about honesty about what the relationship actually needs to live.

The practical invitation: identify one pattern in a primary relationship that you have been tolerating rather than addressing. Bring it into your awareness with compassion. Mercury in Aries gives you the language. Juno gives you the reason to use it.
