Having survived the eclipse and with the inner planets Sun, Mercury and Venus in Pisces, there will be a significant lowering of the relatively manic electrical and nervous voltage that we have been experiencing in the last few weeks. But while entering Pisces is a relatively calm transit for any planet, it does increase both the depth of psychic emotional movement and at times turmoil, as well as our collective levels of sensitivity to subtle energies of all kinds. So, all the continuing big change agent movements i.e. Pluto, Uranus and Neptune, will be felt more in our emotional bodies than experienced in our nervous systems. Sometimes, it makes the difference between things feeling crazy as opposed to emotionally messy and psychically turbulent! The Sun in Pisces starts the week with a healthy and cooperative sextile with the Moon on the cusp of Aries and Taurus, before hitting a weird triangular arrangement conjuncting the North Node, while squaring with the Black Moon in Sagittarius and Eros in Gemini. The former calls our awareness in the primal emotions and dark feminine, while the latter seduces us with erotic frivolity and cerebral escapism. The polarity of this will be at its messiest on Thursday. It will probably be better to dance this out as opposed to trying to work it out with our minds. Like last week, the Moon squares Pluto in Aquarius immediately, describing another emotionally intense and potentially transformative period, an uncomfortable place for the Bull, who tends to dig in and resist in the face of unwelcome change. At 21° of Pisces, Mercury has his traditional clarity and detachment more influenced by the emotional and psychic energy hovering around us than at other times. And he is about to go stationary on Thursday, heralding three weeks of mostly annoying retrograde motion. Great for inner practices like meditation but not so good clarity and effectiveness in the outer world! For the rest of the week however, he will be conjuncting the underworld goddess Persephone in Pisces, in a sobering revisiting of any un-grieved and unhealed inner territory, but with some connections with the healers Chiron in Aries and Hygeia in Gemini in support. Once again, the goddess of love, Venus gets the best deal at this time, still in her beloved Pisces and now trining the expansive and benevolent Jupiter in Cancer all through Sunday and Monday; great heart opening qualities mixed with abundance, generosity and optimism, to counterbalance the various challenges on other parts of ourselves. The super potent Mars, Shiva, Medusa and Vesta conjunction in Aquarius is still with us, with all its opportunities for almost superhuman creative achievement, and its challenges around the use, or misuse, of power and unhealed anger. Fortunately, our masculine warrior isn’t as hyper-charged as he was with last week’s eclipse, but he is heading into a potentially explosive square of his own with Uranus in Taurus peaking on Saturday. This is another time to be careful around accidents, crowds, potential violence and sharp objects. Before he gets there though, Mars sextiles the Wounded Healer Chiron in Aries, while trining the luscious healing goddess Hygeia in Gemini, simultaneously on Monday and Tuesday; great opportunities for healing the wounded warrior within, while accessing the healing Shakti of both masculine and feminine. If the eclipse stirred you big time in the last week (and their influences last weeks and months!) This is a good time for some quality expressive therapy or physically energetic release work. Stay safe, use the opportunities and trust the intelligence of your emotions. With love and blessings, Daniel
