This week the sky opens wide. The Sun and Jupiter meet in Leo, joined by forces of healing and soul connection, all held within one of the most positively charged planetary configurations of the century!. It is a lot of energy to carry. Expansion like this asks the body to stay present, not just the mind to get excited. If you feel yourself reaching for more, more, more, pause and feel your feet first. There is real healing available in how we relate to each other right now, old patterns are being asked to soften and shift. This Week’s Astrology (July 26th – 31st)

This is going to be a strong, expansive, emotionally intense week with some gracious healing opportunities.

By now most of us have heard about the extraordinary Barbault’s Basket, one of the most positively transformative lineups you can have, with those big change agents the Outer Planets being aspected positively by the expansive Jupiter.

And the energy of this continues as the Sun in Leo joins Jupiter this week accompanied by the healing goddess Hygeia and the goddess of soul to soul union Psyche. On its own this is very positive three-way alignment for relationship openings and sexual healing but being a part of this grand basket means these processes and opportunities are enormously empowered by Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Great things are possible here if you can handle the sheer voltage of power or Shakti.

In a completely different energy stream, Mercury in Cancer is now in forward motion, in a sweet aspect to Venus, while extracting himself from a tough sobering Saturn square, a contradictory energy compared to the Jupiter largess of this time.

This is just one of the aspects that talks about relationship healing. The traditional goddess of marriage Juno is exactly conjunct Pluto*, meaning a transformation of templates for committed relationship. And an intensification of what’s working and what’s not in our relating.

Venus in Virgo and her traditional husband Mars are in difficult aspects to each other and, to an intensely purificatory Moon/Black Moon alignment in Sagittarius that takes no prisoners around old patterns and superficiality.

Mars in Gemini is also a great position though, for translating thought into action, especially when in a supportive aspect to his hyper- intelligent female equivalent and mythological sister Pallas Athena.

Later in the week he will join the earth mother Ceres in a curious mix of maternal energy, sharp intellect and forthright action, great for environmental activism, not so good for domestic eruptions.
