Witches, Medicine Women And Men, Awake!

You are sorely needed because it looks like being a very dark week.

We start with the Moon in Aquarius conjuncting Pluto and Hekate wrapped tightly around each other, sextiling an exact Persephone Neptune conjunction while inconjuncting an equally exact Medusa/Shiva conjunction.

While the dogs of war will happily misuse the energy of these archetypes to further their destructive goals by riding their AI infused distortions, the very same symbols can empower those who know how to work collaboratively with their great psychospiritual and transformative layers.

The points of more obvious light are the Pisces Sun sextiling both the marriage goddess Juno and the revolutionary Uranus, in Capricorn and Taurus respectively, a three-way combination that supports creative solutions to relationship roadblocks and better balance between individualism and connection.

The diplomatic strategist and supremely focused Pallas Athena is still trining the benevolent Jupiter, with more than a touch of emotional intelligence and empathy, reflected by the wise voices in the media who stand above the chaos, lies and hype. May the peacemakers be blessed with their intelligence and wisdom!

Mercury, now slowly approaching forward motion on Friday (hooray, hooray!) is conjunct Mars and the North Node, all in Pisces. Normally this would be something to be excited about, as it heightens the ability to walk your talk, take action on your visions, to draw from more compassionate and emotionally aware forms of warrior energy. However, all of them are squared by the Black Moon, a purificatory force that takes no prisoners in her desire to free us from ancient, carried anger, escapism and absorbed toxins. This will not be pretty and can be quite conflict prone.

Speaking of pretty, a word normally associated with Venus, this goddess now in Aries is conjunct Kali who brings her fierce, tantric power to our relating and a low tolerance to BS. Venus will then join Lilith on Thursday for more of the same, while simultaneously squaring the expansive Jupiter, another lineup that could go either way in times of breakthroughs or blowups. Careful with your choice of words!

As for Pluto conjunct Hekate, this reflects deeply transformative potency that will empower any authentic healing, therapeutic and psychospiritual techniques that have the capacity to hold the deep intensity of Shakti or sacred power available at times like this.

Hekate carries her torches into the dark not to remove the darkness but to make it navigable. What inner resource, skill or knowing do I already carry that this week is asking me to trust?

Practice
ie down. Place one hand on your heart and one on your lower belly. Breathe naturally for two minutes. Each inhale, receive. Each exhale, release. Let the body tell you what it already knows. Rest there as long as you need.

Hekate

Hekate stands at the crossroads where the known world ends and the unseen begins. She carries torches not to light the whole path but to illuminate the next step. She is the guardian of thresholds, the one who knows how to move between worlds without being consumed by either. Her presence is demanding and her gift is profound: the capacity to see clearly in the dark.

Psychologically, Hekate represents the part of us that can hold multiple truths at once. The conscious and the shadow. The sacred and the frightening. She does not flinch from complexity. She asks us to develop that same capacity, to stand at the edge of what we know and trust our deeper sight rather than retreating to false certainty.
