While the dogs of war are horribly active, paradoxically we do actually have some really good transits this week thanks to it starting with a multilayered grand trine between the Moon in
Scorpio, Sun in Pisces and the benevolent Jupiter in Cancer.

And it’s a busy start, with the Sun pouring its energy into an exact conjunction with the retrograding Mercury in Pisces, one that heightens the amount of movement in our brains,
nervous system and thinking processes, while Jupiter pours its expansive positivity into proceedings. Fortunately, all this is in the water signs who add an additional emotional depth
to our perceptions and communications.

Added to this busyness is Mercury lining up with the hyper-intelligent warrior diplomat Pallas Athena in Pisces, who specialises in concentrating energy and making it more effective. She also aspects her mythological father Jupiter in a combination that represents access to quite exalted and powerful levels of insight, perception and awareness. This three-way
combination goes exact on Tuesday or Wednesday. May these three infuse the thinking of decision-makers and diplomats!

Venus is still aligned with the underworld goddess Persephone in Pisces but now is sandwiched in the still murky Saturn Neptune conjunction so we can expect a degree of
psychic morning sickness in our hearts and in our relating. Not a good time for making significant decisions on this front, and be watchful around your boundaries.

Mars has been released into Pisces but is in a bit of a jam at the midpoint between the heavyweights Saturn in Aries and Pluto in Aquarius, while forming a hard aspect to the Black
Moon in Sagittarius (which is as bad as it sounds.) There are some ancient karmas playing out across the globe, and all we can do is attend to our physical and mental well-being so
that we are not dragged excessively into this intense collective purging.

Keep working spiritually and therapeutically with whatever emotional disturbances might get triggered at this time in order to draw from the exceptionally powerful healing connections
between Chiron and Ceres in Aries, Hygeia in Gemini, and Medusa and Shiva in Aquarius that are operating underneath the surface in each of us. Combined with the overriding Jupiter
in Cancer, there is grace and support in those depths.

So my friends, the encouragement here is to stay positive without denying the gravity of what’s happening to our world, take care and be kind to both self and others,

Where in my life am I being called to apply more strategic clarity, not force but precise, focused attention? What situation would benefit from that kind of wisdom this week?

Practice
Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Imagine a thread lifting you gently from the crown of your head. Let your spine lengthen. Take five slow breaths. On each inhale, imagine drawing clear cool light in through the top of your head. On each exhale, let that light move down through your throat, chest and belly. Feel what steadies as you breathe. After five rounds, notice where you feel most settled and stay there for a moment before moving.

Archetype Spotlight

Pallas Athena.

Pallas Athena is not the warrior who charges headlong. She is the one who sees the whole field before anyone else moves. Born from the mind of Zeus, she carries a particular kind of intelligence, one that is strategic, embodied and precise. She does not scatter her energy. She concentrates it.

In Pisces, her clarity takes on a softer and more psychic quality. She perceives through the feeling body as much as through the mind, and she brings to this week an ability to cut through confusion without force. This is the wisdom of knowing when to act and when to wait.

This week, she asks you to slow down enough to access what you already know. Trust the insight that arrives quietly. Write it down before your rational mind argues it away. That quiet knowing is her gift to you right now.
