Firstly, have a look at the Nova Article. My apologies if you find the wording a little too complex and technical, it wasn’t one of my better pieces of writing!

I will forgive myself though, because it is indeed a complex situation in this month astrology. It is not actually a bad chart, it is simply that we have these massive points of intensity with a number of often contradictory archetypes all entangled into one. And each of these points interact well with each other but also each point has hard aspects as well.

And as I’ve said, it is all wrapped around what initially is the Pluto/Uranus/Black Moon T-square, which is rapidly becoming a grand cross as a retrograding Kali asteroid locks into the fourth position during the course of the month. And as if that isn’t already unbelievably intense, the whole thing gets even more magnified by the March eclipses.

Just the other day a friend of mine asked me if Kali was planning to step aside a little next month and I had to reply quite the opposite. The truth is in the 20 odd years I’ve been writing for Nova, I can’t remember seeing anything this intense and as each of our life experiences demonstrate, the last four years have been an ordeal for many people interspersed with sudden and dramatic shifts and changes.

One of the great seeming contradictions in the collective of this time is that we also have this fabulous conjunction of Jupiter and North Node, one of the great transits for opening to our soul purposes whether individually or collectively. Now if you read any material about the North Node you get the impression that this is a light filled place that we should head to as soon as possible, but is not as simple as that.

Firstly, you cannot get to the North node in its fullness until you’ve completed the tougher tasks represented by the South node of the moon, challenges that grind us through a great deal of old karma which in turn make way for the reclaiming of past life skills and abilities and knowledge.

Secondly, yes, the North node is a place of light but it is a light so powerful that unless you’ve done necessary purifications and preparation, it will literally fry your nervous system if you were to get full exposure to it! Fortunately, grace seems to protect us from that calamity but when we have a planet of such obvious grace as Jupiter, aided and abetted by the healing goddess Hygeia these last months, then we get gifted opportunities to open more to these of ultimate points of soul direction.

And thirdly it is not a grand cosmic mistake that we are having this eclipsing grand cross at the same time, because the very transformative processes represented by Pluto, Uranus and especially the dark goddesses in Kali and the black moon, are precisely what is needed to do the deeper preparation for owning our soul purposes and being able to handle the sheer voltage of Shakti and light that the North node ultimately represents.

The presence of these interrelated goddess energies doubly emphasises the collective need to transform our attitudes to these so-called dark goddesses. Kali, and her Western cousins Lilith and Medusa are so badly misunderstood, partly because they have been so demonised by the masculine in our culture and partly because we experience more the distortions to these great Shaktis than their gifts in our early lives.

If I was to recommend a program for reclaiming the deep sacred feminine, it would be a mixture of primal base therapy, any effective psychic emotional purification processes, a radical re-evaluation of the way we see and treat our deepest emotional layers, sexuality and lower chakra energies, and finally conscious reclaiming of the goddess in all her faces using the spiritual technology provided by Tantric traditions and the work of Sally Kempton and Andrew Harvey.

If we can use these, and any other related processes that you know, we can make maximum use of the intensity of this time and be in a better position to open to the portals currently available to both our past life history and our future soul visions. The resulting empowerment that comes as the deep goddess juice of our lower chakras infuses our upper chakras we are more capable on acting on our visions with passion and authenticity!
