Leader Teacher Pioneer

Check out my current Nova article here for a broad overview and then have a look at the more specific information below.
You will see then that we are not totally out of the woods just yet, that the collective is still very intense, thanks to the ongoing Black Moon presence and is still rather chaotic, thanks to Uranus who, at 0° of Taurus, is at the highest point of the Australian chart.

Deep purificatory forces and agents for dramatic change are still very much up!

And yet as you will see, Jupiter is also warming up dynamically for his entrance into Sagittarius for the first time in 11 years.

Saturn conjunct Shiva in Capricorn

This is a multilayered union of powerful masculine energies and one that positively energises the evolution of the masculine away from more rigid patriarchal forms toward something far more spiritually and psycho sexually open. It is a meeting, at its best, between an earthy and wise old teacher and the greatest of yogis, both different layers of the sacred masculine.

And they both challenge each other, Shiva having a go at the rigidity of the patriarchal layers of Saturn, while the Wise Old Man will point out where Shiva’s detachment can become disassociation aloofness and emotional unavailability, amongst other things.

(What is curious about this is that in traditional Indian astrology, which doesn’t incorporate either the asteroids or the outer planets, Shiva is said to be represented by the planet Saturn. This is a reasonable fit, because when you get down into the depths of Saturn you find the same deep stillness that you do with Shiva, as well is their mutual connections to sacred knowledge and Dharma.

Unfortunately, however good this looks in theory, in practice in India, Shiva is, more often than not, represented by very patriarchal forms of the priesthood, even in temples dedicated to the goddess. (Here, Shiva has become Saturn, and not necessarily the tough, yet wise and compassionate inner teacher!)

On another level, this is a brilliant combination for grounding and giving form to the expressions of Shiva, whether in our yoga and meditation practices, developing the sacred masculine within, working with discipline and integrity with tantric practices or getting more aware of the ways we may resist true transformation.

At a time when both the toxic masculine and ancient distortions to the goddess are surfacing, Shiva energy is much needed to help us maintain a healthy detachment that brings clarity to the multilayered challenges being presented to all of us at the moment.

Jupiter’s last transits in Scorpio

Jupiter trine the Hygeia/Chiron conjunction in Pisces
This adds further power, grace and fluidity to this joining of the great healers, ensuring that any form of healing work but especially those that engage the emotions, open asked to greater intimacy and reclaim our psycho spiritual sensitivity, will bear even greater fruit.

Jupiter sextile Pallas Athena in Virgo
This is a fabulous meeting between two energies that can use the higher expressions of the human intellect to direct healing and spiritual power. Their prime difference is that while Jupiter creates a lot of upper chakra openings, Pallas, especially in Virgo, is able to earth and concentrate that power and knowledge and direct it more accurately in the world.

Jupiter Sextile South Node, Trine North Node
Opening both nodes gives us greater access to soul visions and purposes, whether our personal ones or collective ones. Jupiter supports the releasing of old karmic traps, while drawing ancient skills, knowledge and experience from our past life records, to be bought into this life.
Accessing the North node opens us to the visions and insight into our future while filling in more of the jigsaw puzzle of who we are in the process of becoming, especially in the second half of one’s life.
Basically, Jupiter is doing some strong but gentle support for moving away from the past and towards a more soul inspired future.

Jupiter opposite Parvati conjunct Juno in Taurus

After two months of intense relationship challenges for many people, having some quality Jupiterian energy injected into the relationship realms is very welcome. As the Queen of Heaven and consort to Jupiter/Zeus, Juno is the traditional goddess of marriage-like relationships, whose mystery tradition included a Western form of tantra. She can be seen as a worldlier version of Parvati, the goddess of the sacred marriage and the ultimate partner of Shiva. These two together then are a potent mix of grace and power aimed at the creation of high-quality relationships.

Having Jupiter opposite the two has mixed qualities about it. If we are to believe some of the writings of the Jupiter Juno relationship, this opposition can be difficult, a polarisation of the freedom loving Jupiter with his more relationship oriented partner. The tension of this can create conflicts and, in some cases, even separations, particularly of one’s primary relationship is more coloured by family based relationship conditioning.

As many of us know though, polarisation’s can also generate a great deal of passion as well is energise the attraction of opposites.

On an inner level, the same potential conflict can have us explore the balances or imbalances between individual freedom and commitment to relationship.

What we do know is that Jupiter will support our relationship evolution, away from such conditioning and towards more authentic relationship based on mutual respect, equality and individual wholeness. Anything in the way of that goal can get inflated, so we cannot avoid seeing the truth of things.

With love and blessings,

Daniel
