We are entering another month of intensity and unpredictability, thanks to significant focus on the heavyweights of Pluto, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and the Black Moon. So, once again we are being challenged to dig deeper into our own central core so as not to be awash to the undermining qualities of the ongoing collective uncertainty.

As many of you will know, the astrology of midnight at the beginning of January is not just a chart for the month but also a chart for the year and in the latter in particular, we get provided with some broad brush strokes in the energies that will impact all of us on the planet at this time.

My immediate reaction to seeing this month’s chart was to think “hooray, hooray”, hooray! After the intensity of this last six months in particular, the skies appear to be clearing.

It’s a good thing that it’s the Scorpio time of year, because we will need to draw from being penetrating, courageous and tenacious aspects of the sign to move through the various challenges of the month.

We have another intense month ahead of us astrologically speaking, another mix of brilliant and brutal line ups.

We are in for a very big month, even by 2020-2021 standards, with some nightmarish constellations and some absolutely brilliant ones as well. It’s going to be quite a juggle for all of us!

The trick with any intense astrological configurations, is to firstly acknowledge the raw truth of things, so that we don’t waste our energy in denial. The same energy that is killing thousands daily across planet is demanding that the rest of us really get our shit together and say yes to the necessary transformations that are being offered all of us.
